The children's ministry at Northside offers the youngest among us a safe and Christ focused environment as they build tools for their faith journey. Children are given the opportunity to grow through play, education and worship.  Ministering to infants through 5th graders, we offer a wide variety of classes and activities throughout the year.  Children are taught age appropriate Bible based lessons that connect them with Christ, and adults are encouraged to serve and invest in these young lives who are beginning their journey. 

Faith starts when children are infants as they learn to trust the people who take care of them. Caring, experienced volunteers introduce children to God's simple love and provide a foundation for faith through teaching scripture on their level that will carry them through their lives.  We count it a blessing to participate in a preschooler's spiritual growth and development.

As children physically grow, they also grow spiritually.  Children learn about God and His ways on their level of understanding to help them know Christ's love and teach them how to make wise, Godly choices that line up with scripture beginning early in life.

We welcome children with special needs to the Young Explorers class which offers a safe and loving environment staffed by compassionate and well-trained volunteers.  Children will discover who God is on their journey and how much they are loved through Bible study beginning at 9:30 am followed by Extended Care ending at 12:00 pm.

Children can always worship with their parents. For those still needing some wiggle room, we offer a special time Sunday mornings at 11:00 am just for kids K through 5th grade to worship God in their own way and hear a lesson from God's Word on a level they can understand.

All children are welcome to worship with their parents.  For the youngest among us, there's Extended Care on Sundays from 9:30 am until noon, a secure and loving place for infants through four years and for those with special needs.

Join us on Wednesday nights for a time where kids 3 years through 5th grade learn about God in a fun and exciting way.  We work together with parents to help develop spiritually strong children who will faithfully follow Jesus Christ all of their life.  Throughout the year there will be special themes, food nights, an Awana store and more. Upward Sports teaches winning is about so much more than the final score and emphasizes healthy competition, sportsmanship and skills building.  Whether you want to play flag football in the fall or soccer in the spring, we have a league for you.  We would love to have you on our team!
