For the Kids

The people of Northside are committed to being a place of hope and acceptance for people of all ages, and children and teenagers are no exception.

Infants & Preschool (birth through kindergarten)

Faith starts when children are infants as they learn to trust God and the people who take care of them, and their relationship with Christ will continue to develop throughout their life. Caring, experienced volunteers teach the truths of scripture on an age appropriate level. Sunday School introduces children to God's simple love, and provides a foundation for faith that will carry them through their lives. We count it a blessing to participate in a preschooler's spiritual growth and development. Extended care is offered during worship at 10:45a.

Elementary (grades one through five)

As children grow physically, they also grow spiritually. Children learn about God and His ways on their level of understanding. Children are taught age appropriate, Bible-based truths that help them know Christ's love, teaching them how to make wise, Godly choices that line up with scripture.

Special Needs

Jesus spent the greater part of his ministry meeting the needs of those with specific and special needs. As the body of Christ at Northside, we are called do the same. We welcome children with special needs to the "Young Explorers" class, which offers a safe and loving environment staffed by compassionate and well-trained volunteers. Children will discover who God is on their journey, and how much they are loved. Sunday School is at 9:30a, with extended care during worship at 10:45a.

Middle & High School (grades six through twelve)

Northside Student Ministry, which we call Nsyde around here, is centered around five big areas of emphasis: worship, service, community, discipleship, and evangelism. Together we challenge students to roll up their sleeves get involved, finding their place on the journey. After all, there's a place for everyone at Northside. It is our calling to reach the needs of students by showing them that God cares about them, to help them discover a personal relationship with Christ that will strive for Christian maturity, and to help students discover God's will for their lives as we journey together. We do Bible study every Sunday morning at 9:30am, with worship at 10:45a.
