Special Events

Each year, we have several huge events that give us a solid nudge toward pointing our lives toward Christ. Here are some of the things we're up to.

RAD Weekend

In some places, this is called DiscipleNow, but around here, it's way to big for that. This event, designed to [R]each [A]nd [D]isciple, is an in-town retreat full of food, fun, worship, Bible study, and service.  Students hang out in the homes of church members with a leader assigned to each group.  It really is 'RAD'!

SuperSummer / Y.E.C.

Designed for student-leaders of the Nsyde Student Ministry, this week is all about developing the God-given leadership skills in the next generation of church leaders. By recommendation only. 

Beginning in February, you will be able to pick up the interview form for Super Summer 2012 - "To Him Be Glory".  You will be given the official Super Summer registration forms once the scheduled interview and approval process is complete.   The Screening Application form is due on or before March 18th. The cost for Super Summer will be $250.00 this year ($100 deposit by March 25th, and the remainder by June 5th).  Northside students will be attending Session 4 at University of Mary-Hardin Baylor - June 18-22, 2012.

Sondays Camp

The biggest event we do all year, and it rocks our faces off! A week you will talk about all year, full of awesome worship, dynamic speakers, and crazy games (by our very own student pastor)! Grab a buddy and sign up now! Dates for this year are July 15 - 20, 2012 Hope you and your friends will join us. Just ask anyone that has gone - they will tell you just how awesome it is!

Winter Retreat 2011

Save the date!  We are making plans for our annual winter retreat December 30-31, 2011 and January 1, 2012.  Make plans to join us as we ring in the new year together at the Port Royal Ocean Resort and Conference Center in Port Aransas, Texas!  Always fun!  Invite your friends!  Space is limited, so make sure you reserve a spot early.

Fellowships

Happening all the time, our students and leaders get together for a meal, a movie, a concert, or some goofy games.  Sometimes we just like to hang out.  Join us as we grow together in Christ.  Watch the church calendar, the newsletter and Nsyde's Facebook page for more details.  Bring your friends!
