Breathe Retreat

This is not your typical Northside weekend away. You'll be stepping away from rush and hurry and into a deeper faith. It's time to be quiet, pray, read, and get a spiritual check-up. If you're willing to commit the time, then turn your cell phone off, find a sitter, grab the scriptures, and join us.

When & Where

We begin Thursday, January 12 at 7pm at the Baptist retreat center in Palacios and head home on Saturday, January 14 at 11am.

Who

Because of the unsupervised time in the retreat, only adults 18 and older are invited. Any adult, married or single, is welcome.

Overview

You'll begin on Thursday night at the newly refurbished Baptist retreat center in Palacios, sharing a meal together and having a time of worship. The next morning after breakfast you'll have time--time to pray, time to read, time to hear from God. There will be tools and resources available to help you as you lean into your faith, a special speaker to guide us through this process, and you'll even be able to have a special one-on-one time with Pastor Tim to talk about ways to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ. On Saturday, we'll closed out the retreat and head back to Victoria.

Leadership

Guided by Tim Williams & John Woods, our leader for the retreat will be Burt Burleson, Baylor University Chaplain.

Price

With lodging, food, and resources included, the cost of the Breathe Retreat can be as little as $84 per person, depending on the number of roommates you have.
